This page is an annotated bibliography of related key texts to be analysed to gain insight into the concept of "The Long Tail". This wiki comprises of eight sources of both academic sites and books. This annotations would be on the central theme, summary of arguments, an evaluation and usefulness of of each sources to the proposed topic of "The Long Tail".

THE LONG TAIL

Introduction The term 'The Long Tail' was coined by Chris Anderson, an Editor-in-Chief of Wired magazine since 2001. He has led the magazine to five National Magazine Award nominations, winning the top prize for General excellence in 2005, when he was also named editor of the year by AdAge magazine. He has worked as worked as a researchher at Los Alamos and served as reseach assistant to the Chief Scientist of the Department of Transportation. He lives in northern California with his wife and four children.
